Jimmy Alan Honeycutt, 67, of Apex, North Carolina, passed away on April 26, 2026.
Born on August 4, 1958, in Raleigh, North Carolina, he was the son of Jimmy and Mary Lou Honeycutt.
Alan, affectionately known as Pepop, is survived by his wife, Jane; his children, Jessica de Mestre (and spouse Luke), Nicholas Honeycutt (and spouse Tara); his grandchildren, Raegan, Wyatt, and Raylan; his aunt, Julia Owen; and his cousins, Felecia and Nelson Owen. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Honeycutt and mother, Mary Lou Smith.
He spent more than 45 years in the plumbing supply industry, working as a branch manager and in outside sales throughout the Raleigh area. He built a reputation for his knowledge, work ethic, and the relationships he formed over the years, and was often recognized as Salesman of the Year. After decades of hard work, he took to retirement like a duck to water.
He will be remembered for his larger than life personality, his unforgettable stories, and his ability to make people laugh. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends.
