Jerry Wayne Thompson
Raleigh - Jerry Wayne Thompson, 81, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Jerry was born May 24, 1943 to the late Lassie T. and Elena Allen Thompson.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Broken Wing Fellowship Church in Raleigh. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 AM. A burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is predeceased by his wife, Faye Braswell Thompson; sisters, Grace Dowdy, Shirley Byrd and Jean Thompson; and brothers, Thurmond Thompson, Durwood Thompson and Ray Thompson.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Angela Heigl; son, Joey Thompson (Louise); granddaughter, Summer Thompson; sister, Rose Whitley; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Broken Wing Fellowship Church, 1837 E. Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.
