Jerry Sears

FUQUAY-VARINA - Jerry Clark Sears, 89, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away on July 17, 2025, at UNC Rex Hospital. He was born in Durham County, NC on January 19, 1936, to the late Thomas and Gladys Sears.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, Harry Lee Sears; son, Clark Sears; and grand-daughter, Katie Sears.

Jerry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Sue Sears; his twin brother, Larry Sears; grandchildren, Thomas and Shavonne Sears; and great-grandchildren, Thomas and William Sears, Aschton Reed, and Ella Liles.

A graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 238 Chalybeate Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
