Jennie Gruttadauria

Jennie Carmelo Capolopo Gruttadauria, aged 84, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Clayton NC. Born on January 12, 1942. Jennie dedicated many years of her life to working at Selectro and Risdon manufacturing and served part-time as a cook at The WoodHall School in Bethlehem CT. Jennie was a devoted member of Christ the King Church in Clayton NC, where she was deeply involved in her community. Her faith was an important aspect of her life, and she cherished the fellowship of her church family.

She had a passion for puzzles, crosswords, playing card and board games with Scrabble being a particular favorite. These hobbies provided her not only with joy but also a way to connect with her family and friends, sharing many cherished moments over games and discussions.

Jennie is survived by her three daughters Laura and her husband Douglas Pinette from NC along with their children Daniel and Dylan both of NC; Darlene Gruttadauria-Lee from CA and her children Joshua and his wife Maddie in PA and Addie in CA; Rebecca Tracy and her child Robbie Tracy from NC; and nephew Jerry and Robert Labrecque along with their families in Waterbury CT. She also leaves behind many other nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Christ the King Church in Clayton NC at 11am on March 21, followed by a cemetery service at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury, CT on June 6.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Christ the King Church in Clayton NC , honoring Jennie's commitment to her faith and her community
