Jeff “Fafa” Woods

GARNER – Jeffery Wayne Woods, 58, loving husband and father, died Saturday. A veteran of the US Navy, he is the son of Searle and Lavonne Woods. He was known throughout the community as a caring, generous, fun loving person that many looked to as a father figure. The family will receive friends 4:00–6:00 PM Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. A Celebration of Life will be held at Aversboro Restaurant, 1411 Aversboro Road, following the visitation. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lizanne Schneider Woods; daughters, Tricia McCrory and husband, Chris of Keller, TX and Justine Woods of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Cynthia Jonz, Laurae Sather and Janice Galvin; brothers, Jay Woods and Jordan Woods; granddaughter, Claire McCrory. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet.
