Jean Jones Berkhout

GARNER – Doris Jean Jones Berkhout, 82, died Wednesday. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Jones and Etta Flowers Jones. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Garner United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Wortham and husband, John of Garner; son, Rick Jones and wife, Chris of Apex; grandchildren, Samantha Brooks and husband, Brad, Katherine Keith, Diana Jones, Stephanie Keith-Whitley and husband, Chris, Haley Cathey and Andrew Jones; great-grandchildren, Aidan Ostria and Zane Brooks; her roommate and friend, Carolyn Pulley. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
