Jean Grady

ANGIER – Jean Grady, 67, passed away at her home on Wednesday. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Clarence Young, Sr. and Nelia Byrd Young.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4th at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3rd from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

Jean is survived by her son, Bill Grady and wife, Amanda of Angier; grandson, Caleb Grady of Angier; sisters, Rebeth Bass of Clinton, Nancy Cottrill and husband, Jack of Clarksburg, WV; brother, Cecil Young and wife, Maria of Angier; sister-in-law, Margaret Grady of Angier; brother-in-law, Danny Pleasant of Angier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William “Billy” Edmund Grady, Jr.; sister, Marcie Matthews; brothers, Joe Young, Junior Young, and Hinton Young.
