Janet Lee Anderson

Janet Lee Anderson (76) from Star City, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2026.

In 1990, she and her family settled in NC where she worked as a secretary at Glaxo Smith Cline until her retirement. She loved working in her flower garden and watching the birds enjoy the countless feeders around her yard.

Janet is preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Anderson and her father & mother, Elton and Pearlene Lunsford of Star City, AR, and great grandson, Colton Doyle.

Janet is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Royce Anderson; her 3 kids Tammy Proctor (Jeff), Kevin Anderson (Michele), and Shane Anderson (Wendy); her 8 grandkids Katie Gildersleeve (Elton), Danielle Cooper, Jacob Thompson, Presleigh Sexton (Tim), Lexi Anderson, Tucker Anderson, Courtney Foskey (Josh), and Clay Anderson; and her 9 great grandkids, Sage Rose Smythers, Harley Grace and Elton Roscoe Gildersleeve, Lainey Rose and Lily-Ann Pearline Cooper, Rhett Wade Sexton, Waylon Jaxon and William Lane Anderson, and Easton Mae Bergeron.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Janet.
