CLAYTON – James Shepard Barbour, 53, passed away Saturday. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, at Oakland Presbyterian Church in Clayton. Visitation will follow the service. James is survived by his son, Shepard Barbour and wife, Amber of Angier; parents, Larry and Pat Barbour, of Clayton; brother, Jason Barbour and wife, Deanna of Clayton; 2 grandchildren, Levi and Avery; wife, Marie Barbour; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Doris Batten; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
