James Patrick Rudzki

James Patrick Rudzki died unexpectedly on October 29,2025 in Selma NC.

He was only 29 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.

James was born on January 19, 1996, and attended St. Patrick School in Owego, NY. His family relocated to North Carolina where he graduated from Garner Magnet High School. James later attended Nash Community College and completed the Electric Line Construction Technology program becoming a lineman.

This was revealed as his true calling. James genuinely loved his work, and always pursued the next qualification, the next step, to advance his skills, and take on new challenges. He traveled to remote locations when needed to help restore power and when home, worked all over the county. His family was extremely proud and supportive of his accomplishments and solid work ethic.

James was an active family member and friend to all who knew him. His honesty and integrity were apparent in everything he did. His sense of humor was disarming, his loyalty never doubted, and his impact can never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed. James and Destiney were scheduled to close on a new house November 04.

James is survived and missed by his Fiancée, Destiney Pellegrino, and daughter, Rilynn. Forever cherished by his mother, Krystal Brown (Lance); grandmother, (Ma) Linda Rudzki; brothers, Jonathan (Ami) and Christopher Rudzki (Kristen); brother, Andrew Brown and sister, K'lyn Swarts (Travis), and a host of other step siblings, relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, November 8 at Hilltop Church 10212 Fayetteville Road, Fuquay-Varina NC 27526. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 at the church.
