James “J.K.” Kenyon Mccullen

(J. K.) James Kenyon McCullen, 75, passed away Thursday, peacefully with family beside him at Wake Med in Raleigh. Born in Newton Grove, moving to Raleigh in 1963 he remained a native of North Carolina. He retired as a SGT with the N.C. Department of Corrections, after 30 years of service. J. K. is survived by his loving wife, Mary McCullen; daughters Kim Clew and husband Stephen, Beryal McArthur and fiancé Patrick Denton; son, David McCullen and wife Cathi; grandchildren, Ashton Breedlove-Sanborn, Payton Clew, Hannah Ryan, Gracyn, Alex, and Jake McCullen.
