James “Jimmy” Hamilton

FUQUAY-VARINA- James “Jimmy” Lemuel Hamilton, 82, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Robert Worth Hamilton, Sr. and Vernie Seate Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Rawls Baptist Church, Fuquay-Varina. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mary Nell Hamilton; daughter, Monika Fountain of Coats; sister, Nancy Nye of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, James Fountain and wife, Laura of Zebulon, Jennifer Larson and husband, Dustin of Colorado Springs, CO and a great-grandson, Jack Larson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rawls Baptist Church, 10665 US 401 North Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 in Jimmy’s memory.
