James Glenwood Mclean

James G. McLean, 72, passed away Sunday at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Conez and Ethel Matthews McLean. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, Willow Spring. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:30 to 1:45 pm at the church. Inurnment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. McLean is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Dean McLean of Fuquay Varina; sons, Robbie McLean of Fuquay-Varina, Steven McLean (Dare Cook) of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Billy McLean (Jeannette) of Angier, Phil McLean (Gloria) of Monroe, Tommy McLean of Lake City, SC; sisters, Annie “Bootsie” Arnold (Tommy) of Willow Spring, Nancy Collins (Tom) of Conway; many loving nieces and nephews; special friends, Billy and Mary Ann Sorie of Roanoke Rapids, NC. In addition to his parents, Mr. McLean was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Ann McLean.
