James "Jim" Earl Davis

Fuquay-Varina - James "Jim" Earl Davis, 75, gained his heavenly wings on April 19, 2025, after a two-year battle with lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. James was the son of the late James and Elza Carter Davis. Jim served our country in the Navy for 4 years. He also had a long and successful career in Electronic Sales and Cable Manufacturing.

Jim enjoyed golf throughout his adult life. He and Sandra spent many weekends at their beach home enjoying time with their grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Carnell Lawrence.

Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Davis; his son, James Davis of Wilmington; grandchildren, Mia Davis, Caleb Davis, and Portside Davis all from Wilmington; his sister, Gloria Blanchard of Fuquay-Varina. In addition, Jim is survived by his special family, Angie and Terry Greer.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd at 1:00 PM at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens, 905 Wake Chapel Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
