James Davidson

James Davidson of Angier, NC passed peacefully August 31, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was born September 5, 1945, the son of Ralph and Leola Davidson of Georgetown, PA.

A graduate of Southside High School in 1964 and he retired from BerkTek in Fuquay-Varina, NC.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Davidson and their children, Tammy Capps (Bruce) of Angier, NC, Jimmy Davidson of Georgetown, PA, Bobby Davidson (Heather) of Lisbon, OH, Melissa Helton (John) of Hickory, NC and Waylon Davidson of Lillington, NC; and their grandchildren, Justin Capps, Hart Capps, Blaze Capps, Kylie Buxton, Bobby Davidson, Kristen Link, Drake Helton, Stephen Helton, Hannah Helton, Brie Helton, Brayden Helton, Easton Helton, Brantley Helton, Paige Davidson and Brooke Davidson; their great-grandchildren, Athena, JJ, James, Temperance, Everly, Owen, Paytin, Bryson, Addy, David; his sister, Pearl Morey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hailey Davidson, great-grandson, Alexander and his siblings, Betty Growden and Kenneth Davidson.

James loved spending time with his family, it was his most cherished times. He enjoyed listening to music while working on restoring tractors while sharing that time with his sons. He was a unique storyteller to all of the grandchildren, who will miss those stories.

A private family service was held following his cremation. He will forever be missed and his memory forever cherished.
