James Claybon Wade, Jr.

Raleigh - James Claybon Wade, Jr., 49, passed away Tuesday at his home. A native of Vance County, he was the son of Peggy Robinson and the late James Wade. He was employed with Helms Group Homes as a carpenter and electrician. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow in Willow Springss Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his four children, Bridget Childers and Cherish Stewart of South Carolina and Jake and Cody Wade of Norlina; grandchildren, JoAnna, Paisley and Colton; sisters, Tammy (Bert) Edgerton, Pam Medlin (Steve) and Stephanie Call (Ronald); as well as a niece and several nephews and his special friend, Angie Wade. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
