James Buck

James Robert Buck, of Garner, North Carolina, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 1, 1958, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late James Buck and Geraldine Buck, James was raised in Garner and graduated from Garner High School in 1977.

James is survived by his sons, Dylan Joseph Buck of Apex NC, Dustin Patrick Buck and daughter-in-law Anya Kaelyn Buck of Apex, NC. In addition, he is survived by his brothers; Jeff Buck of Lake Placid, FL, Jerald "Beatle" Buck and sister-in-law Julie Buck of Raleigh, NC and sister; Julie Buck of Raleigh, NC.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by brothers; Joey Buck and Johnny Buck.

James adored spending time with his two sons. He enjoyed days at the beach on the boat while he fished, cheering on the NC State Wolfpack, tailgating with friends, and his love for music, especially attending live shows. He also loved cooking on the grill, hosting, and feeding friends and family. Wherever he went, James was the life of the party. Outgoing and full of energy, he treated everyone he met like family, no matter how well he knew them.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
