James A. Canady, Sr.

GARNER – James A. Canady, Sr., 70, passed away at home after an extended illness, surrounded by his loving family. James retired from C.P. & L. after many years as an engineer. Memorial Service will be 4:00 PM on Friday May 22 at the Bryan-Lee Chapel, Garner. James was preceded in death by his father Paul Canady; and wife Carol Liles Canady;  and a brother Terry Canady. James is survived by his mother; Doris Browning White; daughter, Cindy Canady Joyner and husband Scott; sons, James A. Canady, Jr, Kelly Norris and Ken Norris; sister, Donna Goodling; and four grandchildren; Brandon and Chloe Joyner, Ashton and Peyton Norris, and extended family. The family will receive friends after the service.
