Horace L. Milligan

Horace L. Milligan, 88, passed peacefully Friday, Oct. 9 with his wife by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Shirley Milligan; daughter, Sharon McGaugh (Thomas) of Canton, GA.; son, Horace Milligan, Jr. (Jessica) of Colgate, WI.; six loved grandchildren, Tyler Williams, Logan Williams, Emily Williams of Canton, GA., Andrew Milligan, Douglas Milligan of Wilson Mills, Candace Harrdison of Selma; step grandson, Nicholas Michels of Colgate, WI.; great grandson Samuel Harrdison. He was preceded in death by his parents Prossie and Mertie Milligan of Loris, SC.; 3 sisters, Lois Jackson, Marie Sarvis, Shelby Norton of SC.; 2 brothers, Wilbur and Sam Milligan of SC. Horace was born in Columbus County, NC in a family of 6 children. He retired from Peoples Company as a auto mechanic with 25 years of service. He served in the Army in the Korean Conflict as a Sgt. Say thanks to a cousin Shelia Milligan and a great friend, Sandra Werner, helping with care.
