Hazel E. Wood

ANGIER -Hazel E. Wood, 94, died Sunday. A long time resident of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Alonza and Almira Weeks Ennis. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church.Burial will follow at the Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Angier Baptist Church prior to the service.She is survived by her daughter, Doan W. Wilson and husband, Randy of Angier; son, Frank Wood, Jr. and wife, Martha of Angier; grandchildren, Marsha Stancil, and husband, Chris of Angier, Amber Bailey and husband, Chip of Holly Springs, Marty Gregory and wife, Sherrie of Angier; great-grandchildren Laura and Emma Bailey, Samuel, Abby, Naomi, and Elizabeth Stancil.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was predeceased by her husband Herman Wood.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center, 185 Pine State Street, Lillington NC, 27546.
