Raleigh, North Carolina - Harry Russos, 74, of Raleigh NC, died on June 26 2025, at his Raleigh home surrounded by his family.
A Trisagion service will be held on Sunday June 29th at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Raleigh, NC. at 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 30th at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 11 a.m., followed by a grave side service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
Harry was born in 1950 to the parents of Gus Russos and Diamond Costa. He served his country in the US Army as an Interpreter Interrogator during the Vietnam War. While attending East Carolina University getting his Masters, he met his future wife, Cathy Stox of Ayden NC. They moved back to Raleigh where they had three children and created their life together. Harry spent his career working for the State of North Carolina, and retired after 43 years. Throughout his life, he was an active Orthodox Christian and a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Harry is survived by his wife Cathy Russos, brothers Gus Russos, Nick Russos, John Russos, daughters Nikki Glass, Allie Earle, and Diamond Russos. Grandchildren include Reagan Earle, Paxton Earle, Riley Glass, Roman Glass, and Mila Earle. Loving Nephew Dylan Karahalios.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or St. John the Merciful.
