Harry Desilver (Rusty) Coryell, Iii

GARNER – Rusty Coryell, 59, died at home September 8 after an extended illness.  Rusty was employed at Cabella’s in Garner.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid kayaker.  He will be missed by his 2 dogs Petie and Ellie. Rusty served in the US Navy from 1976 to 1980. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Coryell, Jr. and Susan McAtte Coryell; and sister, Susan.  Rusty had a very generous soul and leaves many loved ones behind around the world. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 9 from 5 – 7 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Diabetes Association or the the SPCA.
