Harold P. Newton

WILLOW SPRING - Harold Pender Newton, 84, passed away on Thursday. Harold was the son of the late Willie and Thelma Newton. A hard working, kind heart he will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, and humor. Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Crumpler and husband, Dan of Willow Spring; son, Dale Newton and wife, Phyllis Lewis of Willow Spring; step-daughter, Nicole Parvin and husband, Gus; step-sons, Jonathan Wall and wife, Christie; Daniel Wall and wife, Hina; sister, Paulette N. Cooper and husband, Dana of Smithfield; seventeen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and best friend, Coye Penny. Harold is predeceased by his wives, Mary Gladys Britt Newton, Sybil Wall Newton; sisters, Ricky Nordan; Maxine Strickland; brother, Grady Buddy Newton; and one grandson, Danny George Crumpler. A funeral service will take place Sunday at 3:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, Willow Spring. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the church.
