Harold Dean Linkous

Harold Dean Linkous, 81, passed away at home suddenly, Jan. 20, 2021. A native of Alamance Co. he was the son of the late Clarence and Eva Cochran Linkous. Harold worked for Winn-Dixie and Piggly Wiggly in the meat department as a Meat Merchandiser. Funeral service will be Sunday Jan. 24, at 3 PM at Central Baptist Church Chapel in Wendell, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Along with his parents Harold was preceded in death by a sister, Ocie Clark and a brother, Gilbert Linkous. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jolyn Sheppard Linkous; daughter, Brenda Barnes and husband Dennis; son, Sonny Linkous and wife Tracey; 3-grandchildren, Gwen Brantley and husband Chris, Nicki Barnes and Tori Linkous and 7- great-grandchildren.
