Hallie Ruth Ross

Raleigh - Hallie Ruth McGhee Ross, 88, of Raleigh, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Sunday. She was the daughter of Cleve and Leah Smith McGhee. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband H.O Ross, Jr., her parents, four brothers, and one sister. She was a strong Christian woman, devoted wife, and loving mother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by two daughters: Rhonda Feldman and husband Paul, and Vicki Hicks and husband Kenny; four grandchildren: Tara Lareau (Brian), Kristin Smith, Jessica Ellis (Johnny), and Lauren Taylor (Grayson); and twelve great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 24, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, 831 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
