Guillermo Gomez

Guillermo Gerardo Gomez, 91, died Thursday at Rex Hospital. Mr. Gomez was born December 2, 1933, in Piura, Peru. He received his PhD and became a research Scientist at NC State University.

Survivors include his wife, Marisol A. Gomez, his sons, Rolando Gomez and Alvaro Gomez, and his daughter, Carolina Gomez Cremades.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gema Gomez.

The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
