Glenwood Ray Marcom

Glenwood (Glen)Ray Marcom passed away Saturday, April 2nd surrounded by his loving family. He was an amazing husband, Daddy, PaPa, brother, and friend. He will always be a hero who, right up to the end, was loving and taking care of his family. He was a wonderful example of how to love and be loved, honesty, respect, hard work ethic, how to be a parent, and so much more. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, who loved his country. Glenwood is survived by his loving wife of 55 years , Peggy Parrish Marcom; daughters, Sandy Foster (Chris) and Kristi Dinkins (Ryan); grandchildren, Christopher Narron, Joshua Ragan, Kameron Dinkins, and Samuel Dinkins; great-grandchildren, Karter and Levi; brother, Russell Marcom; and sisters, Joyce Tart (Wade) and Janice Kennedy (Jimmy). He was proceeded in death by his parents, Cary Burnice Marcom and Almeta Spivey Marcom and brother C.B. Marcom. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 6th at 11:00 AM at Bryan Lee.
