Gladys Harper

Gladys Virginia Williford Harper, age 98, of Holly Springs, NC died on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in WakeMed Raleigh Campus. She was born on November 21, 1926 in Wake County, NC to the late Eddie and Cora Huff Williford.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Lawrence and Debbie Beistel and her husband, Daniel; her son-in-law: Ralph Tutor and his wife, Cathy; her grandchildren, Cindy Mays, McKayla Beistel, and MaKenzie Beistel and her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey and Sarah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Harper; her daughter, Pasty Tutor; her son-in-law, Wilkie Lawrence; her grandchildren, Kip Tutor and Herbie Lawrence; and her siblings, Lois King, William Williford, Alvis Williford, Edward Williford, Travis Williford and Phil Williford.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home.
