Giles M. Sheffield

FUQUAY-VARINA – Giles M. Sheffield, 79, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm; and other times at the home. Giles was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Sheffield; son, David Sheffield; and a brother, Dr. Gary Sheffield. He is survived by his son, Allen Sheffield and wife, Lisa Flasher of Smithfield; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Sheffield, Wilder Sheffield, Charles “Charley” Sheffield; daughter-in-law, Deborah Sheffield of Columbia, SC; brother, Dr. Neal Sheffield, Jr. and wife, Janet of Greensboro; and a host of extended family and friends.
