Georgia Stafford

Raleigh- Georgia Jones Stafford, 100, passed away at her home on Monday. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Christiana Blalock Jones. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. Georgia is survived by her daughter, Georgia Anne Smith of Oahu, Hawaii; sons; David W. Smith of Alameda, CA and Richard K. Smith and wife, Valori Cohen-Smith of Santa Rosa, CA; grandsons, Derek Smith, Samuel Smith and Adam Smith; sisters, Estelle Lawrence and Ruth Hartsell; brothers, Mack Jones and Robert Jones; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, James B. Smith and George Stafford; brothers, Kenneth Jones, Watson Jones and Bill Jones.
