Gene B. Weaver

Angier - Gene B. Weaver, 76, passed away Friday. Gene was son to the late Young and Pearl Weaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Matthews and grandson, Gabriel Collins. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Gene was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather who worked hard his whole life farming in Harnett Co. He is survived by his daughters, Gwen W. Collins and husband, Joey and Karen Weaver; brother, Richard Weaver and wife Martha; sisters, Lillian Holland and husband, Linwood and Brenda Weaver Poole; grandchildren, Sully, Harry and Madalyn Hamilton and Travis Collins; great-grandchildren, Alyson, Joshua, Seamus and Bridgette. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
