Gary Raymond Powell

Gary Raymond Powell, 59, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. A native of Wake County, Gary was born February 8, 1964 to Walter Raymond Powell and Phyllis Ann Howington Powell Hobgood. Gary graduated Cary High School in 1982 and completed 2 years at Strayer University. He spent 20+ years in printing, before working as a mechanic. Gary loved cars, sports, and fishing, and would prefer being on a boat or the Bogue Inlet Pier.

A memorial service will be Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 2PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Kearsten Ann Powell; mother, Phyllis Hobgood and husband, Milton; father, Walter Raymond Powell and wife, Melody; and a brother, Sean Kevin Powell.
