Fred A. Smith

ANGIER–Fred Allie Smith, 82, passed away at home on Tuesday surrounded by his loving family. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Prentiss Smith and Lorena Rambeaut Smith. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 2:00 PM at Christian Light Christian Church Cemetery, 4351 Christian Light Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Fred is survived by his sisters, Polly Godwin and husband, Al of Charlotte, Peggy Spencer and husband, Bill of Smithfield; brothers, Mike Smith and wife, Blanche of Angier; sister-in-law, Florie Smith of Christian Light; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his brothers, James Lee Smith, Ray Smith, and Gene Smith.
