Frances W. Dupree

Frances W. Dupree, 74, passed away Tuesday at the Hospice Home of Wake County after a brief battle with cancer. A native of Graniteville, S. C., she was the daughter of the late Francis A. and Grace Wooten Whisenant. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Plainview Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of thirty two years, J. M. Dupree, children, Tammy D. Chapman and husband, Donald; Mike Dupree and fiance’ Sue Wagner; Donald Dupree and fiance’ Christy Jernigan, and Tonya D. King; ten grandchildren, Heather Stiles, Donald D. Chapman, Jr., Daniel Chapman, Steven Chapman, Callie King, Bryan King, Brittany Pearce, Ronnie D. Dupree, Quamane McLeod and Caley McLeod and six great-grandchildren, Madilyn Chapman, Kolten Chapman, Kane Stiles, Garrett Chapman, Brayden Pearce and Brantley Pearce and her loving extended family, Ellen Arthur, Jean Baklhorn, Gail Simpson and Bob Whisenant. The family will receive family and friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
