Frances Palmiter

Frances Currin Palmiter, 83, of 8204 Bells Lake Rd. in Apex, NC passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025.

She is survived by her son Hugh Timothy Overby (Janette), granddaughter Lisa Bullock Sullivan (Craig), great grandchildren James Bullock and Oliver Sullivan, brothers Richard Howard Currin (Emily), Edward Vance Currin, and Carolyn Currin Morris and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Lyman Palmiter, Jr., mother Mary Belle Adcock Currin, father Walter Odell Currin, daughters Frances Teresa English (Ronnie) and Mary Louise Overby, sister Anne Currin Rambeaut (Elbert), brothers Joe Badgett Currin (Mary), Marshall Adcock Currin (Willie Sue), Simpson Odell Currin (Debra) and Willard Ray Currin. Frances was a long-time member of Fairview Baptist Church in Apex. Visitation will be on Monday, December 8 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Following the Visitation there will be a Graveside Service and Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay Varina, NC. The service will be conducted by Pastor Kevin Welch.
