Florence Mozelle Price

Mozelle Carter Price, 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Holland (Sue), Wayne Holland (Sieglinde), Ronald Holland (Teresa), and Phil Holland (Edith); seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Sallie Carter; sisters, Elza Lee Davis and Kathleen Dupree; brothers, Carson Carter and Clemuel Carter; and her companion of 24 years, Glen Holland.

Mozelle was known as a hardworking woman, she had many jobs, but none of them did she love more than the Corner Grill that she owned and operated for many years. When Mozelle wasn't at the grill, she could be found outdoors, either working in her yard or at White Lake. During the summers, the grill would close at 3 pm, Moe and Glen would load up the truck, and the next stop would be Camp Clearwater for the weekend. She loved spending time with her family there.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver Street, Angier, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 am at Angier Baptist Church, 155 S Hickory St, Angier, NC 27501. Her burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, 2712 Oak Grove Church Rd, Angier, NC 27501.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Angier Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
