Faye LeBoeuf Danahy

Born on May 6, 1977, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Eugene and Helen, Faye was a vibrant soul whose life was defined by love, creativity, compassion, and an adventurous spirit. She had a unique gift for finding beauty in everyday moments and making those around her feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Though her family and friends said goodbye far too soon on August 12, 2026, the joy she brought to others and the memories she created will live on forever.

While attending Rhode Island College, Faye met Jason Danahy. After graduation, they married and welcomed their only child, daughter Skylar, in 2006. In 2008, they relocated to North Carolina and settled in the Raleigh area. Although Faye and Jason later separated, they remained committed to co-parenting Skylar and building a strong foundation for her future. Skylar spent her final two years of high school living with her mother in Raleigh and now attends East Carolina University.

Faye found love again when she met her fiancé, LaMont, online. Together they shared ten years of love, friendship, laughter, and unwavering support. During those years, Faye became an integral part of LaMont's family. She loved his children, Erving, Emelia, Evan, Eddric, and baby Tillie as if they were her own. She was a source of guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love, becoming much more than a partner to their father. She was like a second mother to the children and shared a special bond with LaMont's mother, Eva, who welcomed and cherished Faye as a daughter.

A self-described "gypsy," Faye embraced life with a colorful spirit and free heart. She loved all things whimsical, flowery, and beautiful. Her home reflected her personality, filled with artwork, flowers, plants, and colorful treasures that made every room feel warm and inviting. Even her lamps were often draped with scarves because, in Faye's world, there was always room for a little more color and beauty.

Faye found joy in painting, crafting, gardening, and creating beauty wherever she went. She loved traveling and exploring new places, always ready for her next adventure. The beach held a special place in her heart, providing peace, comfort, and a sense of home whenever life became overwhelming.

Her compassion extended to every animal she met, especially those in need. Stray animals seemed to find their way to Faye, and she rarely turned one away. Giving a homeless animal a loving home was simply who she was. Her kindness knew no limits when it came to caring for others, whether they had two legs or four.

Music was one of Faye's greatest passions. She loved artists such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Kings of Leon, and Drake. Her family often laughed that her playlists could move from classic rock legends to Drake without warning, but that was perfectly Faye: fun, surprising, and completely herself. One of her favorite songs was "Sunny" by Bobby Hebb, a song whose uplifting spirit reflected the warmth and positivity she shared with others. No matter what was playing, Faye could often be found singing and dancing around the house. Skylar frequently came home from school to find her mother dancing her heart out, singing along to her favorite songs, and ready to hear all about her day. Those simple moments became some of the memories Skylar treasures most.

During football season, Faye's enthusiasm was impossible to miss. A devoted New England Patriots fan, she cheered for her team with unmatched energy. Friends and family knew that when the Patriots were playing, Faye could often be found jumping on the couch, yelling at the television, celebrating every touchdown, and reacting to every play as if she were attending the game in person. Her excitement was contagious, and game days with Faye were always memorable.

Faye will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, generosity, laughter, and her ability to make people feel loved. She had a remarkable way of bringing light into the lives of others and making every gathering a little brighter.

Though her life ended unexpectedly, the love she shared throughout her life continues to surround those who knew her. Her spirit lives on in the countless memories, stories, laughter, and acts of kindness she leaves behind.

Faye is survived by her beloved daughter and only child, Skylar; Faye's fiancé, LaMont; his children, Erving, Emelia, Evan, Eddric, and baby Tillie; LaMont's mother, Eva; her loving sister, Margot; her brothers, Guy and Claude; and many other family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

The family will receive friends and relatives for a memorial visitation from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Faye's memory to Saving Grace Animals in Raleigh, North Carolina, honoring her lifelong love and compassion for animals.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of love, prayers, support, and donations made through the GoFundMe established in Faye's memory. Your kindness and generosity have brought comfort during this difficult time, and the family is deeply grateful for every expression of love shown since her passing.
