Eula Faye Massengill Parrish, 84, of Clayton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday afternoon. She was born in Johnston County to the late Weldon Roe and Mary Lucille Barbour Massengill. She worked as a Fire Processor and Trainer at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company for almost 30 years. She enjoyed working in her yard, on puzzles and spending time with her family. Most notably, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children, Rick Stogner (Catherine) of Clayton, Michael Stogner of Wilmington, Maynard Stogner (Tammy) of Wendell, Vickie Stogner Tobey (Steve) of Virginia, Mark Stogner (Jenny) of Wilmington; her sister Kay Horton (Edward) of Clayton, and 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Massengill, and sisters, Lea Broadwell and Elaine Williamson.
A service will be held on Sunday, September 21 with visitation from 2:00 – 3:00pm, followed by a service at 3:00pm at Bethesda Baptist Church, 4967 US Highway 70 Business W, Clayton, NC. She will be placed to rest at Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church cemetery, located on Shotwell Road, Clayton, NC.
