Ervin Randolph Millwood, Sr.

Garner – Ervin R. Millwood, 88, passed away Tuesday at Transitions Lifecare. Born in Nash County, he was the son of the late Clarence William Millwood and Daisy Flora Millwood. Ervin lived a life of faithful service to God, family, friends, community and his Country. A memorial service will be held 4:30 pm Saturday at Aversboro Road Baptist Church, Garner. Mr. Millwood is survived by his daughter, Connie Millwood Upchurch (Brian) of Raleigh; son, Ervin Randolph “Randy“ Millwood II (Laura) of Concord; daughter, Monica Millwood Saunders (Douglas) of Raleigh; son, Getachew Giorgis (Abby) of Garner; sister, Clara Millwood Heath of Rockingham; brother, William Wayne Millwood of Waycross, GA; grandchildren, Ervin Randolph “Rand” Millwood III (Courtney), Richard Bryce Bruncati, Ashley Saunders Tatum (Jamie), Bennett Raynor Bruncati, Brandon Scott Saunders (Taylor), Madelyne-Lois Millwood Saunders; great granddaughters, MacKenzie Rowen Millwood and Cecilia Isabel Millwood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Owen Raynor Millwood; sister, Christine Millwood Weeks and his brothers, Clarence G. Millwood and Marshall J. Millwood.
