Emily Blanchard Adams

Angier- Emily Blanchard Adams passed away on Monday. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Brantley and Lessie  Hilliard Blanchard. Surviving are her children, June Adams Eason and husband, Wayne of Raleigh; son, Ronnie Adams and wife, Susan of Angier; grandchildren, Joseph B. Adams (Trimble) of Morrisville; Kathryn A. Schroder (Dave) of Davidson; Andrew G. Eason, William B. Eason and Amelia L. Eason all of Raleigh; sister, Dorothy “Tootsie” Page of Lillington; brother, Rudolph “Tink” Blanchard (Nora) of Buies Creek; Wayne Blanchard (Betty) of Fuquay-Varina; sister-in-law, Jean A. Lee of Angier. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raythell Green Adams, sisters, Cora Lee Tysinger, Charlotte Jean Blanchard and brother, Charles Blanchard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1:00 – 8:00 PM at the home of Emily Adams at 3366 Benson Road, Angier.
