Elliott Howell Johnson

Angier – Elliott Howell Johnson, 94, passed away Thursday. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late William Allan and Myrtle Rose Hamilton Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday at Neill’s Creek Baptist Church, Angier. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon J. Call of Angier; son, David E. Johnson of Angier; granddaughter, Julee Proctor and husband, Matthew; great-grandson, Brodie Proctor; brothers, Rupert Johnson of Wilmington, Coyt Johnson of Holden Beach. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm prior to the service at the church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. Johnson in 2006; sisters, Madeline Naylor, Era Upchurch, Margaret Matthews; brothers, Hartman, Graham, Thurston and Gerald Johnson.
