Eleanor Pearce Stevens

GARNER–Eleanor Pearce Stevens, 88, died Wednesday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Dessie Creech Pearce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. Survivors include her children, Larry R. Stevens (Deborah) of Garner and their children, Greg Stevens and Michelle Haseman; Doris Hinton (Bobby) of Broadway and their children, Crystal DiGiacomo and Amber Kidd; Debra Wall (Bobby) of Garner and their daughter, Amanda Thompson (Nathaniel); Curtis Stevens (Kim) of Raleigh and their children, Hilary Wilson and Lauren Stevens; sister, Hazel Cook of Garner; as well as 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hocutt Stevens and brothers, Macon and Mitt Pearce.
