Edward "Ed" King, 66, passed away on Wednesday March 11 th , at his sister's home surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Born in Raleigh, NC ED was the son of late Edward "Paul" King and Sarah Juanelle Brewer King. He was one of the most generous and kind souls that walked this earth and everyone that met him was blessed by him. His selflessness and heart to serve others was that of Jesus. He was an amazing businessman who put his heart and soul into his cooking. He loved UNC Tarheels almost as much as his family, friends, and cooking good ole southern food. His whistle was so heartwarming and his smile was infectious and loved with his whole heart which is why so many people loved him. He is now sitting at the throne of his Savior Jesus Christ and been made whole and new again.
The family will receive friends and family from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday March 16 th at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC. A service to honor his amazing legacy will be held at Angier Baptist Church on Tuesday March 17 th beginning at 12 pm. A private burial will be held at a later time.
