Edward “Ed” P. Hood, Sr.

Edward “Ed” Pearsall Hood, Sr. 93, passed away July 17, 2016 with his family by his side. Ed worked as a Purchasing Agent for Hayes Barton Pharmacy for many years. He also proudly served his country In the U.S. Navy during WWII. There will be a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM Wed. July 20, 2016 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner, with Military Honors. The family will receive friends after the service. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Hodges Hood; sons, Edward P. Hood, II, Paul C. Hood III; sister, Mollie H. DeWalt and three grandchildren, Kaylee Hood, Zachary Whitley and Emily Tingen.
