Edna Ray Marcom

CARY – Edna Ray Marcom, 85, died Thursday. A native of Wake County, she is the daughter of the late George and Zeffie Smith Ray. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Montlawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Marcom of Raleigh; son, Ricky Marcom and wife, Lynn of Raleigh; sister Clellie Langdon and husband, Gerald of Raleigh; brother in-law, William Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Jones; brothers, Otha Ray, and Thurman Ray. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Hospice, 3200 Spring Forest Rd., # 201, Raleigh, NC 27616.
