Edith Vick Capps

Edith Vick Capps, 95, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Deloris Capps Smith (Wayne); son, Dennis Herman Capps, Sr. (Sherry); grandchildren, Cindy Ridley (Chris), Kelli Moore (Stephen), Dennis Capps, Jr., Sherry Augustine (Jay), Robin Atkinson (Todd), Tisha Sewell, Lucresha Hauck (Brad), Larry Capps, Jr. (Lisa), Tuesday Morgan (Ernest); 17 great-grand children; 12 great- great-grandchildren and a large and loving extended family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Capps and son, Larry Capps.

Edith showed those whom she dearly loved with a joking nature and heart, always enjoying a good time and laughter with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
