Dwight James Thompson

GARNER- Dwight James Thompson, 71, died Sunday. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Roy and Leola Mills Thompson. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Survivors include his son, Dale Thompson (Jessie); sister, Diane Spurling (Dan) and grandson, Michael Thompson, as well as a large and loving extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Linda Shearin and brother, Clifton Thompson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
