Dorothy Moore Ryals

ANGIER- Dorothy Moore Ryals, 92, passed away on Wednesday at home. A native of Johnston County, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lonnie Mack Moore and Mamie Norris Moore. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21st from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A private funeral service and burial will take place at a later date. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Ketchie of Angier, Margaret Hayes and husband, Bobby of Creedmoor; sons, James E. Ryals of Angier, Charles Ryals and wife, Janet of Benson; sister, Katie Tart of Benson; brother, Ken Moore of Benson; grandchildren, Kenny Johnson, Glen Johnson, Joyce Bunch, Beverly Fox, Curtis Hayes, Nicole Ryals, Dalton Ryals, Ashley Thompson, Richard Ketchie, Tim Ketchie, Jesse Ryals, Chris Blake; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ray Ryals; daughter, Barbara “Bobbie” Johnson; son, Johnny Ryals; sister, Ruth Lee; brothers, Gerald Moore, Mack Moore, J.W. Moore, Tommy Moore, Jerry Moore; grandson, Patrick Ryals.
