Doris Lee Price

Garner – Doris Lee Newton Price, passed away Thursday May 4. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Alma Harvell Newton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday May 19 at 11:00 am, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Doris is survived by her sons, Harold B. Price, Jr. (Janice), Richard L. Price (Lynne), David C. Price; grandchildren, Julie, Amanda, Samantha and Evan; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Brooke, Matthew, Noah, and a large and loving extended family.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Price, Sr.; sisters, Louise Watkins, Edna Mae Newton, Bessie Campbell; brothers, Charles and Rufus Newton.
