Doris Jean Moody Pittman

Doris Moody Pittman, 80, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 with her family by her side. A native of Wake, Co. she was the daughter of the late Paul,Sr. and Lorraine Moody. Doris was a preschool teacher for many years. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday Oct. 13, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Tippett’s Chapel FWB Church Cemetery. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Andrew Pittman; and son-in-law Allen Parker. Doris is survived by daughter; Carolyn Parker; sons, Tim Pittman, Roy Pittman and wife Susan and Hugh Pittman and wife Elizabeth; and five grandchildren, Chris Pittman and wife Lora, Aleisha Wisz and husband Matt, David Parker and fiancee Kristi Fields, Kym Parker and Noah Pittman, and great-grandson Brennan Wisz. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will also receive friends at the home of Roy and Susan Pittman on Saturday after 4 pm at 168 Canyon Rd. Clayton.
